Our Pastor
New Greater Peace Missionary Baptist Church is under the leadership of Pastor Daryl J. Action.
Pastor Daryl J. Action was born in the City of Los Angeles, California where he has lived his entire life. Pastor Action was brought up in The True Gospel Missionary Baptist Church, under the pastorage of Rev. R.L. Blake. In 1987, he received his license to preach the gospel under Pastor Nathaniel Tyner. Later that year, Pastor Action joined the New Samaritan MBC under Pastor Vernon Webster and was later ordained there in the spring of 1990.
He is passionate about preaching and teaching the Word of God, and believes there is an answer to every challenge this world may present. He knows that nothing can be done without the power and guidance of the Lord because with God, true ministry can and will take place.
Pastor Action has a great love towards the people of God and has a genuine concern for the spiritual and overall well-being of all people. When Pastor Action is not preaching or teaching the word of God, he is praying for the sick, bringing comfort to the hurt, and ministering to all people from different walks of life. He states that being one of God's representatives is one of his greatest joys.
Pastor Daryl J. Action shares his life with his lovely wife, Lisa Action. He is the father of 4 adult children and grandfather to five grandchildren.
